TV on the wall or in the alcove?

Hello! I need your suggestion, please :)

I bought a new gas fireplace (in the hole) and it should arrive next week. I would like to order a new TV soon (probably 55" tv?) but the problem is I got a small alcove. How do I get around this?

The second option is to place a TV on the chimney breast which I need to build a stud wall on the existing brick chimney breast (tv in the wall) but my concern I may have to raise my neck higher! According to the gas fire manual, fireplace must be 12" above the ground. How high I need to place the TV above the gas fire?

I have attached the floor plan and pic of the living room.
