Hello, I know you are a knowledgeable lot; I bought my last TV after advice from this forum. The thing is my nana is looking for a new TV now here requirement are simple. She’d like a TV 40” to 46” and that is it. She doesn’t know much else about them and I offered to look into it for her. The only experience I have though is after buying my Panasonic 50” V10 which I did a little research into on here and I’m very pleased with.

She has been to the high street shops today and has come back with two TV’s written on a piece of paper. One she was very keen on (Sharp LED 40” LC40LE600 at £699) and another she liked just because of the sale price mainly I think (Samsung 40” LCD LE40B550A5 WXX at £550).

I think she’s chomping at the bit to get away tomorrow and buy the Sharp LED. I told her just to hold her horses and let me ask you lot first.

So with £700 what should she be looking at?

Thank you.
