tv for £500

hi guys, i need help finding a tv for around £500
It will be primarily used to watch dvds and a bit ps3 gaming.
would prefer a size of 40-42 inches
and would be sitting around 12 ft (3.6 m) away

Size? Viewing distance?

Given no HD sources, look at a 720p plasma like the Panasonic 37/42X20
