Hello. Relatively new to all this hi-tech stuff, but can anyone tell me the advantages of being able to access the engineers menu on TV sets ? (And , how on earth you go about doing it !)
I own a SONY KV28FX65 TV. Are there options contained in these menus that can dramatically effect the performance of the TV ?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

As you say yourself, Relatively new to all this hi-tech stuff i would recommend you stay well away from these menus and just stick to the colour and brightness controls etc.

If you go into the service menus and ain't got a clue what you are doing, you will do more damage than good.
