    Hi :)
I am in a total quandary  as to how to go about connecting up the following when they arrive tomorrow:

    • Panasonic TX32PS5 (TV)
    • Panasonic DMRE55 (DVD Recorder)
    • Panasonic NVHV61 (VCR)
    • Sky Box
    • PS2

I'd also like to take full advantage of the Panasonic Q-link feature of the TV and DVD Recorder, I have managed to obtain instructions for all of the above but every manual appears to contradict the other.

    I currently have:
    • 4 Fully connected 21 pin scart leads
    • 3 A/V Phono leads
    • 4 Co-ax leads
    • Tos-link Optical lead

Any help or advice will be most greatly appreciated

You need to provide a bit more information

    1. How many scarts does each device have?
    2. Are the scarts inputs, outputs or both.
    3. Which scarts are RGB and/or s-video enabled?
    4. What other connections are available?

Sorry about taking so long to get back to you. Hope the info is still useful.

    DVD's AV1 scart to TV's AV1 scart.
    Sky's AV1 scart to DVD's AV2 scart.
    Sky's AV2 scart to VCR's AV2 scart.
    VCR's AV1 scart to TV's AV2 scart.
    PS2's output to TV's AV3 S-Video.

If you invested in a decent scart switcher (£50+) you'd be able to make use of the PS2's RGB output capabilities, but S-Video is a good substitute.
