How can one tell whether its there or not? I am getting impatient
Phone customer services, then phone them again! - if you get three different people and they all say no - then it isn't available in your area!
But, if only one says it's available then your in.
Mmmm I sent them an email nad all I got was some vague reply that they woiuld be available sometime this year. I get the impression that they are not all that keen that people should know or so it seems??
Believe me when I say emails don't work - I tried that too and got nowhere. They seem to delight in sending you reply emails which don't actually address the issue you raised.
There's no other way to get a straight answer apart from calling the 'customer infuriation' line at least 3 or 4 times. Just remember to get the full name of the person you are speaking to (to use as ammo if it turns out they were giving you wrong information), and if they aren't helping demand to speak to a supervisor (who's name you should also get).
Sad that it comes to that, but it's the only thing they respond to.
OK I will, but I dont understand why they are behaving like that
Do you know which NTL network you are on? Langley people can get TV Drive now. Bromley by end of march
Mmm, well I live in Worthing Sussexn. Not sure what network that would be. Which Langley would that be ? there is at least nine in England.
Stick your postcode in here.... http://www.dslzoneuk.net/ntl_region.php
And I think it refers to Langley near Slough, Berks.
bromley which means end of march.
Is it true that only the Beeb will be available in HD ie no Sky progs or National Geographic?Telewest alsoi have teleport( blueyonder) which presumably will also appear on NTL.
Well I'm Bromley and when I phoned CS this week I was told 23rd January was the release date in my area. I was advised to call back then to arrange an install.
At present only BBC HD is available on NTL. They are supposedly talking to Sky about getting their HD Channels but how close they are to reaching an agreement is anyones guess.
I'm not sure about the others e.g. Nat Geo, Discovery.
