tv cabnet help

    hi i hope someone can help me I am looking to build a stand for my thomson RP tv and to house my dvd,sky box,ps2 and vcr.
    i can build the thing from MDF no prob its what kind of finish to apply, paint it , spray it some kind of covering????.I dont know any ideas will help lots thanks

    do a search for 'flexi' on this forum... should be what you're after. Ask Taz nicely for some pictures of his as well, think he veneered his.

    I made a hoooge cabinet for all my gear...enclosed so the kids couldnt get at it. Timber frame with MDF...I used Ronseal "Paint and Grain"..Beech effect..and guess what? "It does exactly what it says on the tin"!!!
    Really easy to do, costs about £12 with plenty of paint left over, and it looks real!!
