    Hello

TV – Loewe Credo 7581 ZP (2 scarts)
    DVD – Pana DVD350 (2)
VCR – Sharp VCMH (I know, I know but a surprisingly good pic, playback and record!) (2)
    Telewest Cable Decoder (2)

Can anyone advise how I should connect the above units using scart leads.

It was all working well 6 months ago however they (apparently!) had to be disconnected (not by me!) owing to a room make over.

At BEST I can tape terrestrial TV whilst watching any channel however can only record pic on screen when vcr on L1.

Ok then mate i would suggest my very special loop technique. THis shoulld work may be with a bit of fiddleing.
    TV.RGB>DVD>SKY.RGB>VCR>TV.AV2
All with good quality scart leads. You are lucky all devices have 2 scarts. Check menu settings for RGB etc on all but TW av2.
Watch DVD and SKY in RGB on AV one a VHS on av2. IF you lose WS switching etc swap DVD and TW boxes around. (this is not ideal as Cable pic will go through DVD[Macrovision beware] to VCR but the Loewe can probably pass the signal through its circuitry)

    Thanks hornydragon.

A bit techie (my ignorance!) but I'll certainly give it a go.

I would consult the TV manual but it is not to be found!

Loewe have promised to send me a copy.

The dvd manual also recommends the "loop" however the sound from the 'cable' over-rides every other channel.

    Again, Thanks very much.

    Regards,

    Bert.

Does it override analogue channels on the TV????
I assume the cable is scarted to the TV. Dont even bother with the RF (aerial) connection. Check the pace settings its in the software menu with the programme guide (on 4000 series anyway)
Let me know know how you get on as i often post solutions to these type of questions but get very little response!
