Someone told me that prefab house has plyboard walls, and I was wondering weather a tv bracket with a 32inch tv attached to it on the plyboard will hold the tv they said that the the wall will come down with the tv is this true? i dont want to risk it without second advice so please help me out :)

Hi

A 32" TV should be ok on this board as long as you use the correct fixings and it is a flat bracket. These fixings are good for all hollow walls;

For a swivel bracket or anything heavier you should try to find the wooden studs holding the wall and attach to these.

Hope this helps.

I agree.

If its plywood then there will undoubtedly be timber stud work behind. See if you can find a vertical / horizontal stud behind the ply and then you can just screw directly into that with some good quality long(ish) wood screws.

Safe as houses ;)
