Hello, I need some help with an issue that I'm having with my turtle beach headset.

I use a Turtle Beach Recon 150 headset for discord on my Macbook and on PS4 and the headset works flawlessly on both platforms. However when I plug my headset into my PC I can immediately hear sound and my settings show that the mic is detected, but there is no mic input. I have a USB adapter and in my USB audio device properties it states the device is working properly and I've set my mic levels to 75 (I also have a 3.5mm splitter cable and both the cable and USB adapter work on other devices), but when I run a test in device settings and on Discord it states that the highest value input is 0 percent. I've updated all my drivers and checked privacy settings as well. I'm at my wit's end. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks in advance!

Is there not an issue with having the headset as default device in windows then having discord use windows default device?

My headset sometimes didn't work in discord till I changed it in windows then selected actual headset in discord over default

It simply doesn't work on Windows or on Discord. I really don't know what's going on.

I saw a comment about a mic mute button on turtle beach headsets. Something about holding it for 10 secs, let it go for a few secs then unmute mic

Not sure if this is somethinv worth trying

The mute button on this particular headset is a slider and I never set it to mute. Idk man maybe I'll get another headset but I'm worried I'll encounter the same problem.
