Turning Off V+ Live Rewind?

Hiya, we had V+ installed today and have already noticed the regular (every second) clicking off the HDD being accessed for the Live Rewind feature.

As our box just sits on a table next to the TV (no cabinet yet) it's quite noticeable. Does anyone know of a way to turn the feature off and stop the HDD constantly needing to be accessed?

Welcome aboard

There's no way to turn this off it is a fundamental feature of the way the system operates recording recording current Chanel all the time when viewing linear channels. Some units are loder than others, try it in different positions if possible and a cabinet will probably help, though may make things worse as it may amplify the sound - you may want to find some insulating/vibration damping materiel to put under the V+ box's feet to cut this down.
