Tuning Eins Festival on Sky HD

Hi,

I have a SKY HD box and are attemptin (without successs) to tune in Eins Festival.

I know how to program the box to find new channels, but it is not finding this channel using the following frequencies:-

10744H 22000 5/6 (SDTV)
12422H 27500 3/4 (HDTV)

Can anyone help with this please?

I believe you are referring to Einsfestival on Allgemeine Rundfunk Deutschlands ( ARD ) on Astra 1H @ 19.2E, not any of the Sky cluster @ 28.2E or Eurobird @ 28.5E which is what your Sky dish is aligned to. It is therefore not tunable as things stand.

Yes it is on ARD on Astra 19.E. I am not an expert, what would it take to get the channel, a motorised dish or just a case of waiting?

Waiting for what? To get it, you'd need to either get a motorised dish, or swing your own dish round to 19.2E ( in which case you'll not get any Sky channels. ). Can you not get a live stream on the net?

I didn't know if there was any way of getting the channel without a motorised dish, obviously not.

Yes can stream it, just prefer to record old TOTP from my Sky box.

Obviously yes - a bracket on your Sky dish with a separate LNB for 19E, or a replacement dish with the same, with a separate digital HD receiver.
