Just interested what people generally listen to on the way to work.

This morning i had the delights of Slayer - South Of Heaven ripping me speakers from the doors, interrupted only by the local news coverage at 9am. It's given me a real zest for life this morning, can't beat a bit of thrash metal to liven you up!

This is not my usual selection though, usually i have some nice slow melodic stuff on to calm the body and mind before the 'stresses' of the day ahead.

    Whaddyoo do?

This morning it was Aerosmith's Greatest Hits :smashin:

But normally something like Dr.Dre or Wu-tang becasue this is the only place I can really listen to them due to kids always being around at home, the little Mofo's

Generally depends how tired I feel in the morning on the train to London. If I want to sleep than I put on something fairly laid back like the Flaming Lips or Badly Drawn Boy. If I am wide awake though something a bit heavier like Audioslave or Queens of the Stone Age.

This morning it was Audioslave and Badly Drawn Boy as I only felt a bit tired and could not decide if I was going to sleep or not.
    :boring:

    Haven't left yet :D

Usually take 4 or 5 CDs with me.

Today I shall be mostly listening to ..... Vienna Teng, Pete Yorn, Echobelly and Barenaked Ladies.

What I feel like going with depends as much on the weather and the time of the day as it does on how aggressive or laid back I'm feeling :)

I like to listen to some classical baroque music, particularly the harpsichord music of John Sebastian Bach, sometimes though i prefer the music of Couperin as it is a little more relaxing.

I listen to more modern music on my home though with favorites such as Peter Paul and Mary and the Cream Creedence Clearwater Revival.

I have a 50 minute drive to and from work at an average speed of about 15mph:eek: so the music i listen to is very important!

    Otherwise i get

I alternate between 80's rock/pop classics and Trance/Hard House. Have to watch it with dance music on the motorway; if a good tune comes on, I always drift up to around 85mph without noticing:blush:

I could never take that attitude to life.

    The criminals have won!

May as well stay in your home 24 hours a day in case anything happens to you when you go out!

Only takes about 10 mins to walk to work in the morning, but i still like to have the old MP3 player on the go.
    Current playlist...
    1. Gary Jules - Mad World (Donnie Darko OST)
    2. Beat on the Brat - U2 (Ramones cover)
    3. Sheb Wooley - Purple People Eater
    4. Theme tune to the Banana Splits (certainly works if you are grumpy in the morning:smashin: )
