Tuner or not

Still trying to decide which screen is best for me. Do screens with built in tuners or external turner boxes have more features eg digital noise reduction etc, as the turner boxes seem very expensive if all they do is the same as a freeview / skybox

The real problem with tuners is that they don't do the same as sky or freeview, they are universally analogue at present. Several makes have digital tuners in the pipeline, none yet on the market. The tuner boxes do offer scaling, multiple inputs etc, and if you just want a TV to plug in and turn on, they offer that convenience. The general feeling here is that a little more time spent setting up will give you the convenience and better performance.
