we’ve got an app (a golf simulator game called skytrak) that plays through the iPad, which needs to go to the projector ideally through the tv. We also have a sky box which also needs to be able to play through the tv and projector (obvs not at the same time) think we’ve got all the right cables etc including a hdmi splitter, hdmi switch, but basically don’t know what to connect to what ‍♀️‍♀️ any ideas?! Can you help wonderful people help please??!

System - list out the Make and Model number of all devices you are looking to connect together.

SkyTrak - need to look at the User Guide but doubt the 'personal' version has the option of sending video to a projector. Had a look - all you require is an Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter plus a suitable length HDMI cable to deliver an image to your Projector.

Thank you. I think the issue is we also have a sky box, so want to be able to switch between watching sky on the tv and on the projector and then playing the golf game on the iPad/projector...without having to faff around plugging and unplugging things? Which is why I think we need a splitter and or switch is that right? But not sure which of those does what/plugs where!

What you require is an HDMI Matrix - this device combines the functionality of a Switch and a Distribution Amp (Splitter) into a single chassis.

Is there a sound system somewhere in the mix too?
