Well out of that lot Sleepy Hollow, True Lies and Pirates of the Caribbean grab my attention and i will probably buy them, Close Encounters of the Third Kind i already have, region 2 with DTS and it seems fine to me, considering this films length and the fact it does not contain any extras on disc 1 worth speaking about i seriously doubt that the Superbit version can improve on whats already out there unless they have supervised a brand new transfer.

They are being released by the same distributer who has released the last few full bit rate editions, so it's an educated guess.

I checked on a couple and both Vampire hunter and City of God DO NOT have english subs.. so cross those off your shopping lists..

Also a load more Ultimate editions are being released like The Big Blue and Die Another Day.. not sure if there is any reason to get these as I reckon the euro R2 have all the same features..

    Cheers

Perhaps Die Another Day much criticised on these forum pages for DTS sound going out of sync and edge enhancement on the region 1 will have a substantially improved picture and sound quality, pity they can't improve the second half of the film although its better than any Moore bond film other than perhaps For Your Eyes Only which i have a soft spot for.

Wish they would re-release Armageddon with an anamorphic print and DTS sound.

    Wasn't Heat DTS released already?

Or are they planning on re-releasing with a fixed aspect ratio? (Please please please please)

Korean version was DTS but the aspect ratio was wrong.

I have to say the Korean version is pretty poor IMO. It'll be interesting to see what the Japanese version is like.

I don't remember the Baroque period in the history of music - still got to be able to identify it though :D

Many are actually the definitive cuts, such as scream which is completely intact and far more gory at the start.

Do you think Jean-Philippe Rameau would have favoured DTS or DD

Have both these on order from CD japan.

When are they likely to ship (given that next week is actual release).

I generally find that 10 days from release date, depending on which method of posting you chose.
