true 5.1 surround in headphones (DONE!)

    Hey,

    here is an example of how 5.1 or any other surround sound configuration can be achieved through ANY set of normal headphones. While this clip is not 5.1 surround the software uses the same technique - download the clip (800k) and listen to it through headphones!

    The sound moves all the way around your head and back. Does anyone know if this has been implemented widely?

    hmmm, not quite true surround sound...

    but actually not that bad for a pair of American Airline freebie headphones :laugh:

    they were the only things close to hand!
