    What was I thinking.

I bought a Scart to SVideo from Keene.
I figured this would take signal from Sky box to ProV, I do not have SVideo on Sky box.

But I also cannot output svideo signal from Sky box either.

I think I just wasted money on this cable.

How do I connect Sky box to ProV for best PQ.

    thx

Is it a cable or a convertor box? Straight foreward scart->svideo cables are always problems (never really got one to work). But if you have the keane RGB to SVideo convertor box (£70 Maplins) there should not be a problem, so maybe the convertor is faulty?

Sky digiboxes do not output S-video via scart. Just composite & RGB.

You'll need either an S-video equiped digibox (Grundig GDS310/2 or Sky+ box), or, as mentioned above, an RGB/S-video converter.
