    Hi everybody,

    I have a Jamo DVR50 hooked up to Sky+ and a Pioneer 434 plasma.

Whilst the picture quality and sound on the Jamo are excellent, there are a number a niggly problems. It will switch itself off completely at times, the sound will disappear frequently and the whole system will lock up. I then have to switch it off at the mains and power it up. Annoying.

Could anyone recommend a good player that will, basically, just plug in and allow me to use my existing speakers?( the cables are channelled into my walls). Component video, optical input are required, and preferably, progressive scan. I cannot afford the high end systems, so one around £500 would be nice.

    Thanks guys
