My AVP700 has been rock solid for years, but recently it has started to fail.

It has started to emit *digital static* when using the processor, from any of my 4 digital sources.

If I use the analog bypass I can listen to 2-channel sound just fine.

If I turn if off for a while it will work properly for a short time before the digital-static comes back.

The *digital-static* makes it unlistenable - it sounds like it has lost sync in some way, but it is happening with all digital sources via both coax and SPDIF.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Any ideas on how I might be able to fix it?

    Thanks.

Had the same problem. Some diodes have to be changed on the dsp board. Don`t worry, it is not expensive, was around 30 Euro, postage included here in Germany.
