    Trouble Formatting drive
Can someone help. I want to format one of my drives. It is a basic drive. When I right click my computer and go to manage when I right click on the drive I want to format the option is greyed out. At start up I do not have Administrator option to go into.

Right click on the taskbar, and you can select to show admin tools.

    What OS?

Sheesh, I've never seen that 'Manage' option there, I always go via Control Panel. Certainly a quciker way to get to Computer Management. I presume you've gone into Disk Management and right-clicked the drive in the list at the top, yes?

Does the login you're using have Admin rights .. you're clearly assuming that it's the lack of Admin rights that's causing the option to be disabled, I would know but it seems plausible I guess.

You can make the Admin login available usng Powertoys IIRC, if you really need that.
