Hi,
I don't know if anyone can help me but it's worth a shot. I own a 2008 VW Golf Mark5. In it's arm rest is an iPod dock. I don't own an iPod so I got something similar to this Grom iPod iPhone Dock Female End to 3.5 mm Male AUX: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics to connect my phone up so I can listen to music on the go. So far so straight forward! However, the iPod dock does not and will not recognize the adapter...at all! I've tested a work colleagues iPod in the dock to make sure the dock isn't the issue, which it isn't, and I've tested the lead on another iPod dock to see if it was broken, which it isn't! So if neither the dock nor the lead is broken then why the hell wont the lead work in my VW Golf dock?!?!?! It's driving me (no pun intended) nuts!
