    I used to really enjoy the original Tron game. Was never too fond of the sequels though.

    wonder how they will use the analogues to replicate the twirly stick.
    as im almost positive the version of tron i played in the college had a twisty/twirly joystick,like ikari warriors..

    You are absolutely right, it did have a spinner. Along with it was a flight stick style joystick with a trigger, so you moved and fired with the stick while aiming with the spinner. I think the best way would be to use the analogue triggers for rotating left and right.
