    Worth getting???? Loved the film, just wonderring if anyone has bought it, and whether or not the picture and sound etc are any good.

    Got r1 boxset - pic & sound are awesome !!! especially on the light cycle sequence...with masses of bass.

    Also got the R1 set and it's film + extras galore:)
    I saw this at the pictures when it came out and was wowed by the effects and a fun moralistic story. It still looks cool now; in its timeless arcade stylie of chic:cool:
    Suddenly I'm reminded of Dire Straits Money For Nothing video:eek:

    Yeh I think I will as well... when a mate got me to sit down and watch it recently and nearly laughed at the suggestion. But it really is one of those COOL films and still looks good today. Did anyone recognise a very very young Bruce Boxietter (spelling)?

    Play's website show R" as only Dolby Surround, R1 as DD 5.1

    can anybody confirm the R2 is only DD 2.0?

    Checked out a copy in MVC, and defo no 5.1. R1 it is then.
