..anybody else watching this? I'm throughly enjoying this!
The medical officer is certainly well animated.......
I watched the first episode Sky aired (which wasn't the first episode in the series), and thought it was dire. The animation was reasonable, but the humour was just rotten, almost childishly stupid. As such, I gave up watching it. Admittedly, I probably should have given it another chance or two, but it was a show I wasn't overly fussed about whether I saw it or not.
I watched it last year (not sure why SKY switched the running order) and I thought it was hilarious and still do. Humour will always appeal to different people, I'm the only one at work who considers Little Britain to be utter garbage
I've seen a few episodes and it's not bad. The problem is that it clashes with other programmes otherwise I would have seen more episodes
I find there's about two or three jokes per episode of "Tripping The Rift" which really make me laugh - the rest is a bit puerile. I love the idea of a sentient spaceship that suffers from agoraphobia, and I also enjoyed the idea of Six wanting to have sex with God - "Just once when I'm saying 'Oh, God, Oh, God!' I wanna really mean it!"
I've pretty much given up on it now, TBH. I thought the animation was surprisingly crude, too - I'd have thought a respectable gaming-oriented PC ought to be able to produce better graphics than that in real time, let alone pre-rendered....
