    New parallel dimensions drama pilot written by Jamie Mathieson (Being Human, FAQ About Time Travel) to air Spring 2014 on E4

    “There are thousands of worlds out there. All with a version of you and a version of me. And someone is trying to kill us. All of us…”

    Directed by Ben Caron (Derren Brown, My Mad Fat Diary, Tommy Cooper)

    Gethin Anthony (Game of Thrones) as 24-year-old pragmatic everyman Danny who’s about to move in with his girlfriend Suzy, played by Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones, Hollyoaks). Craig Roberts (Submarine) also stars as Danny’s stoner and waster ex-best friend Milo.

    Suddenly finding themselves transported to a parallel universe where they encounter different versions of themselves, the pair soon realise dangerous assassins played by Jason Flemyng (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, X Men: First Class) and Arsher Ali (Four Lions) seem intent on hunting them down and killing them. With Danny desperate to get back to his own Suzy before it’s too late and he loses her forever, they embark on a series of darkly comic and dangerous adventures in an effort to get back home.

    Now this sounds interesting, I've always been a fan of parallel universe stories. I remember reading a book called the coming of the quantum cats by Frederick Pohl that was quite good. Will be watching this for sure

    Picked up as a four-episode order, now called TRIPPED, previously ALT.

    After the pilot with the old cast, the project was re-developed with The Missing creators Jack and Harry Williams coming on board as writers/co-creators.

    Now entirely recast;

    Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners) as Danny
    George Webster as Milo
    Georgina Campbell (The Ark) as Kate
    Richard Gadd as an assassin

    Jamie Mathieson (Dr Who Mummy On The Orient Express and Flat line writer) is a co-creator and co-writer of episode one.

    Good first episode, worth sticking with.

    There better be a second series after that ending!

    Didn't realise it was the final ep until the continuity announcer said so. Just four episodes ... fudgeing ridiculous! Looks like this has been doomed from the start.

    I'd seen it promoted as a four-part series from the start - most British series are only 6 episodes anyway so not that much shorter than normal.

    Although admittedly that last episode was far too rushed, enjoyed the first three parts though.
