My camcorder only do Dolby Stereo Sound.

Is it worth buying a tripod for me to film dancing videos ? How much will it cost ?

Is it worth buying a microphone to plug into AC Multi for recording sound ? How much and what kind is ok ?

Bear in the mind I sometime want to film it with 20 seconds.

A Rode hyper cardiod mic would be a good start mic wise. A few hundred pounds, but worth the money.

How about a mono pod. Easy to hold the camera still, but buch more portable.

Excuse me asking, but what is the purpose of the mic when filming dancing?

Are the dancers singing? No, I don't get it.... Why not just take a feed from the CD-player, or was this the purpose of the mic. what's the Copyright position I wonder...?

You need to supply greater details, to get the v. best replies.

A tripod is much more stable (even compared with a monopod), but can be a nuisance - you'll need one for normal work. Get a "fluid head" for smooth panning. A monopod can be a good buy.
