I have just introduced the Trilogy 3 automatic (RGB enabled) two scart (2 in 1) extender switch to control two satellite receivers connected to one RGB scart socket on my Pioneer 434 plasma TV media box. When I now switch the Echostar AD-3600IP sat receiver the 4:3 channel image switches quickly to a 16:9 although the channel watched is not transmitting in widescreen. When I move to widescreen channel the machine will not flick automatically and I need manually to select the screen size. The other satellite receiver continues to works properly. Changing or reversing inputs on the scart block makes no difference. The Echostar will always not work. If the scart switch is removed then there is no issue. Tried different scarts cables too and this fault remains. It looks that as soon as the switch detects that the Echostar is on is triggering a signal that makes the Echostar think it is widescreen. Any ideas please of how to fix this?
