Tricky business this TV buying lark

    Having decided that a CRT is my preferred option (at least for 3 years or so until LCD catches up), I have decided to spend around £800 on a 32" TV.

    9509 initially was very very impressive........until I saw a football game. PP2 really loses the plot here.

    My other option is a TX32DTX40. I like the look of them, the picture is more "traditional" imo. Less Image enhancement, but still detailed.

    That said the Phillips looks "larger" than the panny, even though the screen size is alledgedly the same. It almost looks like a 36" compared to the panny. Is this my imagination or is there some truth here?
