Has anyone got the special edition version of this. It claims to be 1:1.85. Which it is except it plays a 4:3 movie in this space so my 28" widescreen gets to see it like a 21" 4:3.

    nice!!!!!!

still trying to work out what is wrong

    any suggestions?

    Nope, it's not anamorphic.

Either your TV should detect the widescreen picture between the borders and automatically switch to widescreen, or you'll have to zoom in yourself.
