Hmmm, one of my favourite movies ever.... But I'll wait for the reviews to see if it is worth buying AGAIN on yet another format, or for it to be cheap in a sale though, as it’s a bit pricey for that extra tat which I’ll probably never even look at.

Sounds like a ”Gaaaah-daaaammed plan” to me.

I don't think its bad at all - compared to say Total Recall - it's only a fiver more than a typical release and the tat isn't terrible like some recent releases (I actually quite like the original poster and the Perfection town sign).

To be fair I wouldn’t expect an Atmos / DTS-X remaster unless it was coming from Universal directly, and with DTS Neural / Dolby Surround upmixing you get a great simulation anyway. Glad to see this is on the lower side of pricing on special editions - the Studio Canal ones look great but £50 is a hell of a lot of money.

Amazon sold out already or they just haven't put it up for sale yet?
They've done this on a few titles recently, they seem to 'prep' the listing and confirm details/add images before making it available. I've been watching it closely as I'd prefer to order from them.

Seems a lot of sites do this I was after an electrical item and both Amazon and the manufacturer have out of stock and yet more or less sure they not yet reached the launch date.

Absolutely love this film. Bacon and Ward are tremendous together.

Just gutted Bacon got too good for B-movie fayre and never returned for anymore :(

And the TV show ended up getting canned as well :(

Just realised that ive never owned this on disc.

I swear i’ve seen it 10 times so it must have been every year on the Beeb.

Should be a revelation going from SD TV to 4K.

I think this overtakes Total Recall as my 2nd most eagerly awaited pre xmas catalogue release!

ITV2 mate.

It's been on ITV2 at least 50 times in the last few years. Must be their most showed film.
