Well Glasgow actually in particular here G20 0XA The Altum Building to be precise. I will be using public transport and this will involve a train journey. Although I have travelled by train twice in the past decade I have not had to purchase a ticket as they were provide. So rather than make a fool of myself in public I thought I would do it here and ask some dumb questions. I looked to buy the train tickets online but would still have to get them from a 'Machine' at Waverly station and pay an extra 75p booking fee. So I have decided to purchase the necessary travel documentation myself. Are these 'Machines' idiot proof? Could I go and buy the tickets early than I need them, which is next Friday and use them on the day without incurring extra costs? I also need a decent map app, I am not overly impressed with Google maps and I will need something to guide me through the hinterlands of Bearsden, I hope I do not need protection from the wildlife.
