Travel tips

I plan to take my A200 to the Amazon region of Brazil. I expect this to be hot and humid.

I welcome tips on how to ensure no damage to the camera and in particular how to keep it clean and dry during daily treks on land and water (in a canoe).

Is there such a thing as a waterproof bag and would I need some chrystals which absorb humidity?

Any other travel tips will be welcome.

tou can buy completely waterproof cases for cameras that allow you to take the camera to about 50m underwater, however i think theya are quite pricey

You might try storing it in a plastic Zip-Loc bag with silica gel or other dessicant. If you're working in really damp and humid areas, an underwater housing might be the best and safest approach.
