Hey
Looking for some recommendations for a camera rucksack/backpack for travelling.
Looking for something quite small and portable with enough room for a nikon D5100 with a lens or two and some accessories. Something that offers some protection and a little extra space for a small jacket/phone etc would be ideal.

Plan on using it as hand luggage on a plane so needs to meet the size requirements for carry on luggage.

Thanks

I've got a Macpac Kahu 22. Used it whilst travelling China to hold my DSLR, second lens, tripod and also a small jacket etc.
Did the job well and very comfortable.

I bought a Lowepro Flipside 400AW a few months ago and would definitely recommend it. There's plenty of room for 1-2 bodies + 3-4 lenses and it's very well padded as well as having another section that can fit a small laptop. The main feature is that it opens on the opposite side to normal so it's impossible for someone to open it up and take your camera out whilst it's on your back. Perfect for peace of mind when travelling.
