Question Transporting a 55" led 25 miles

Is it a serious nono to lay it flat,screen down on a couple of double folded duvets in the back of the car???

I did do a search but all the posts were years old, this set is only 12 months old

i have done exactly that with a sony 52" to no detrimental effect to my eye. cant believe that delivery people wont lay a tv flat at some point
