That "We've got the Power" 80's soft rock tune that get's played constantly throught the movie is the only downer... it's REALLY cheesy.

Are you sure its 5.1? I got mine delivered but it's still in the plastic - it looks like 2.0 to me.

This film is class, voices of Orson Welles /eric liddle(?) of Monty Python and a few minutes into the rather quiet opening a 15 minute battle!

We've got both the Transformers movies on VHS in our student flat. Along with both the Thundercats movies and the MASK movies 1 and 2.

    Top films!

I ordered mine yesterday - the DVD that arrived had Transformers the Movie on the box art however the pictures on the reverse of the case show the film to be the Rebirth film (headmaster etc).

Can anyone shed any light on this, as I am confused, where is my 80s guitar riff!

    Cheers

It says on the site that it is "fullscreen" is this right? Has it been chopped or was it made in 4:3?

    Thanks.

That's the extra Japanese episode they 'found' with some very badly dubbed voices.

sorry my bad - it was just a completely different artwork from the orginal VHS release which put me off. When I got home all was well!

I have the Takara DVD with the horrendous voices - it was worth a watch but pi**ed me off it cost a tenner!
