I would have been more interested if it hadn't been a beat 'em up.

Finally out today! Snuck some in last night, quite good so far, if you like platinum games like Bayonetta and Vanquish and/or like the G1 Transformers it's worth a look!

Played this over the weekend. It's a damn fine game. Maybe even the best sp transformers game made. Which in fairness isn't hard.

Bought this today (only £24 from the Aus site) and it's good fun. Playing on the medium level and the bosses are a nice challenge.

Just finished the first chapter and I must say, that was really enjoyable. Love the mechanics of the game and the combat is incredibly satisfying. The different transformers are all sufficiently different to provide a different gameplay experience and it's good fun levelling them up and improving their weapons. I must say that I haven't found it repetitive at all yet, even though the nature of the game is fairly repetitive. I think it's down to the great gameplay mechanics, as event just negotiating a part of the map from a to b can be done in quite a stylish and enjoyable way, with a few transforms en route.

You certainly improve as you progress and just as with the likes of Bayonetta, once it clicks, you end up pulling off some really stylish attacks, which look great! Visually it's fantastic and really captures the look and feel of the G1 transformers. The voice acting is spot on and the story is just classic Transformers. I'm probably a bit biased as I love everything Transformers and was a huge fan back in the 80's, but for me, this is a belting game.

Finished this and won't give away the ending but looks like this could be one of many.

Wow just wow, that's the best way to describe this game. Amazing game, best transformers game ever. Enough of a story and playtime to keep you interested but not too much where you are glad to finish it. Not a that's it either.

Gameplay is simple and fun, med difficulty is a challenge for once. Definitely worth reading through websirptes on tutorial before playing the game. Half way through I learnt that there are boosts and health packs and you can upgrade lol. Having grimlock is was a great idea.

    Gets a 9/10 for me.

So worth a punt is this then? Might have to check some streams. I thought this would be garbage if I'm being honest.

More than likely going to pick this up on the weekend. Reviews have been decent for it and being a massive G1 Transformer fan i should in theory love this.

Voices are pretty much the original cast. Which was real nice. Nice to see the characters looking like they should and wiped away all of them bad Michael bay nightmares.

Yeah it's great to be honest, really good fun to play. You can pick it up from the Aus store for £24 and if you gameshare that makes it effectively £12 each :)

What is this gameshare and how does it work?

I could get the wife to buy me Star Wars for the son and get one myself. Cheeky I know.

Basically you sign into a mate's/family members xbox and make that your home console and your mate/family member does the same on yours. Then any purchases you make, appear on your mate's/family member's xbox and vice versa.
