The big EPL clubs are not the place for young managers to learn the trade. The demands are too high to allow for the time needed. Rangers could have sacked Gerrard after their title challenge faltered last year but they stuck with him and look where they are now.
Obviously there are no guarantees that a young manager will come good but Gerrard & Solksjaer are two examples of what can happen if a young manager is provided the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and improve.
Celtic getting £10m for Frimpong who was signed for £300k 18 months ago is a good bit of business. The player wants away but I'd have wanted to sell him for that even if he was happy at the club. He's alright but lacking in a few areas and his final ball is very much in need of improvement.
Another example though of a player who came in spouting how delighted he was to sign for such a big club and then wants away after a short while. Sick of that bs. If you don't believe it then don't lie about it.
