I have a Humax Foxsat-HDR 320gb model and the drive is now virtually full with programmes i want to keep.

Is it possible to transfer direct from the Humax PVR to one of the drives on my Dell PC?

If so, what are the connections as unfortunately i don't have the manual for the Humax.

    Any help appreciated.

Yes you can subject to your

1 Your Humax and your PC both being connected to a home network

2 You install the Custom Firmware add on

Media & File Server Bundle for the Foxsat HDR - Release 4 - PART 5 | AVForums

Replaying them once copied directly from your PC, without copying them back is a little more complicated.

If you simply want to expand the storage, easiest way is to format a usb drive EXT3 (so it can cope with HD recordings greater than 4GB) to one of the 2 usb ports, once copied you can replay these from usb with the standard box with the standard software .
