    Hello,

recently bought a sanyo z2 projector off one of the forum members and have read and have been informed by a number of members and a senior member that Sanyo Warrenties are transferable.

Has anyone done this in the past? Know who to contact?

    All help appreciated

    Thanks in advance.

    Carl

you dont need to contact anyone..... the warranty is senibly tied to the serial number (unlike some other arsey manufacturers selling higher end machines.... NEC step forward)

I have contacted my local sanyo service centre and they say I need proof of purchase to have it serviced under warrenty.

    Is this correct?

When I sold my Z2, i contacted the supplier who told me not to worry about anything like that.... though Im sure having the proof wont harm your cause at all.
