I have a Sony NW-E407 with a small library of music in SonicStage 3.0 on my work PC.

I have just bought a new home PC so, naturally enough, wanted to transfer my library onto the player and then onto the new PC.

Lo and behold... SonicStage (3.1) on the new PC (although it will see the music on the player) will not download them into the library.

It says it is because the music was 'from another computer'.

I presume this is an anti-piracy measure, but I'm innocent!

Is there any way round it?

    thanks for your help

I'm not sure if it is the same for the NW-E407, but for the HD series you need to register both computers to the same Connect account, and then authorise the player to that account.
