Hi all
I want to fit a 2 or 4 terabyte HDD to the NAS which already has a 1t HDD installed.
Is there any limitations on the storage amount on the new HDD with regards to compatibility?
What HDD would be recommended that has low power consumption & reliability?
Would an external HDD be better & if so which one?
I would really appreciate your thoughts especially if you have personnel experiences.
Thanks Blue

Ok no replies fair enough.
One more try though.
This server OS is long in the tooth. WHS 2003 service pack 2.
I want to upgrade the OS. The tranquil is used only as a media server feeding an SB Touch and stores home videos photos etc. I intend to add another HDD as the ability to expand is there.
What are my options or should I just get another nas and migrate all my file to the that.
Hope some knowledgeable soul could advise.
Merry Christmas to all who read this post.
Thanks Blue

Thanks endlesswaves. Looks like a new NAS then. Any recommendations for a audiofool? Low energy quiet with a HDMI out would be nice?
