I want to transfer my video tape collection to DVD via my PC. Can anyone recommend a video cature card for this purpose. The closest i've seen to what i want is an analoue TV tuner card which had a yellow composite socket, but no red and white sound sockets. How would i get the sound in?(sound card input perhaps???). Must be cheap < £30.

red and white sound plugs go into a phono > 3.5mm connector then plug into the soundcards line in socket. You can use Dscaler in conjunction with a cheap card to improve the quality a bit.
