i have been ripping my cds to wav then tagging and naming them using tag&rename and everything was fine tracks displayed in track order. then i started using media monkey to tag them. since then any new cds show tracks in alpha order on the squeezebox the tag&rename ones still show in track order. how do i force them to show in track order?

When ripping, you could try ensuring that file names are prefaced with the track number, including a leading zero. That would maybe give you a fall-back if the trach numbers aren't being correctly written or read.

Having said that, WAV tagging is a bit wafty so I'd be inclined to batch convert to FLAC where tagging is fully supported.
