Personally, I'm not too worried about extra's, I want the film to be as good as it can with DD & DTS sound, but I think having extras makes the differance between a good DVD and a great one. Many people enjoy paging through the extras to see how a film was made, listen to the directors commentry etc etc.... I thought the Toy Story 3-Disc set was too expensive, so I brought the 2-Disc set for £17.99 and I'm very happy with it. I guess the extra cost for the three disc set was due to the amount of work put into making disc-3. The reason that Play247 charge more for the R2 version is because they pay more for it - the great British Rip Off.
