Question Towers with built in subs

Are they designed to have that side mounted subs facing towards or away from each other?

Have a look at the SVS Ultra Tower speakers. They have dual 8" woofers built into them and are orientated firing away form each other out of the sides of the cabinets. You can see them here.

If you want more base point towards corners less point to the middle. Built just like my old jamo x3ms
