    Hi all,

Saw the above Strata 32" 50Hz on display in Currys last night. Was quite taken by the quality of the 50Hz picture ( analogue RF feed). For a 50Hz set flicker was barely perceptible and the overall image very natural, with clean flesh tones, bright strong colours all very impressive.

I would guess its pretty much the same chassis as the 32zd26 but without the 100Hz processing, prog scan, and of course only two scarts and no component inputs.

But that aside what are your thoughts on this set ??

I had a 32zd26 before sending it back as the 100Hz buzzing was just too intrusive. My immediate impression is the 32z23 is far superior on analogue RF feed than the 32zd26 which makes analogue look very soft indeed.

Will take my Sony DVD player down and see how it compares on RGB. The 32zd26 forte (as we know) is on DVD via RGB.

    Happy new year all !
