I saw this last film last night..anyone else seen it?

It is more a documentary (true story) than proper movie, but blimey I have never seen such a tale of one mans grit and determination to overcome whatever is thrown at him!

    Check it out!

Saw it at cinema, the determination of the bloke to make it back back down is an inspiration to anyone. The sheer bloody mindeness of the man! Though his injury and description of it still makes me cringe:eek:

    Watched this at the Weekend.
I'll never be able to listen to Boney M again.

So the question is: If you were Simon, what would you have done?

    Guys,

You really need to see this on DVD as it has another whole section of what happened afterwards.

Great film (well documentary type thing)

    Ian.

I didn't think that Simon came across very well at all...he came across as very dodgy and shifty looking!!

Although you can't really blame him for cutting the rope I have a hard time in believing that he actually shouted down the void once he found the hole where Joe fell, surely Joe would have heard him?

What amazes me most is that two blokes can walk up to a mountain and one of the most hazardous climbs in the world and just start to climbing it without any support or back up.
