    Hey guys,

Hope this is the right place for this. I am looking for a piece of software that can use to replace my current setup. I am running THE PCJUKEBOX(which is an amazing piece of software but will not run under win7 as is showing its age a little bit now), it is also no longer supported. I want ease of use and quality playback of all types of music formats. There are a few that I have found but they all seem 'busy' with too much stuff going on.
Anyone out there that has a jukebox setup and can share what they are using with me :D

If you visit the pcjukebox website and have a look and the software, it will give you an idea of what i am looking for.

have you thought about windows 7 media centre, with the right codecs that can work easily. Has a great interface for either a remote or touch screen (have used both myself). I recomend the k lite codec pack. One simple install and all the major file types get covered.

JRiver is supposed to work well as a music Jukebox.

    I have never used it.

Most HTPC software will do the job, but it might be far more than you are looking for.

Try Logitech Media Centre previously known as Squeezebox server, use it with squeezeplay and you could add a smartphone into the mix. There's a couple of really good apps about for android and iOS.
It's free and specifically designed for music only, there may be a few touch screen skins still around for it.
If you are on windows, Moose makes a nice front end, but it's a while since I looked at using a large touchscreen, as I use phones and pads on my set up.

Wmc7 is very poor for music.

Have a look at ultimate jukebox, should do all you require.
