As a dummy I look at the threads to get an idea which 32in LCD to purchase BUT oh dear WHICH unit doesnt have problems (black lines, fan noise, motion blur ect ect ect ect ect ) I think its better to stick to the old CRT untill the manufactures can make a product that is worth 1500 pounds of my money.

You can get a decent panel for £1,500 - personally for that kind of money I would look at 42" plamsa's. :)

You can get a display that's worth your money, be it LCD or Plasma (or any other for that matter). It's all down to your eyes, thoughts and opinions.

If you read too much into anything you're considering purchasing, there's always going to be someone who isn't keen on the same product ;)

Go and demo and make up your own mind

I suspect that if you looked at threads on a crt forum you would find people who have problems with those as well.

Nothing's perfect, everything has pros and cons. You just have to decide which version of imperfection suits you best.
